I hail from Trenton, Michigan, USA. In 2009, I went to Australia to study abroad for a few months, and ended up staying for almost four years. I returned to the US of A in October 2012 and have been wondering why ever since! I have a bachelor of arts in musicology from the University of Michigan and a masters in Journalism & Communications from the University of New South Wales.

I love to write poems, and they usually rhyme. Playing with words the way I play with music is something I just can't help. Meter is also important in my writing, and the importance of flow and they way it sounds when read aloud most likely goes back to my musical roots. Check out some of my writing here.
